Starting as a garage/punk duo, they have since expanded their lineup to include bass, auxiliary percussion, and keys drawing on elements of blues, psychedelic, and dance rock to create high-energy live performances. . COLOR CHANNEL is a Boston-based dance rock band founded by frontman Jared Connell and guitarist Mat Dellorusso in 2010. The band quickly built a reputation for party-provoking live performances and raw energy, earning them a loyal local following. Following the release of 2017’s “Patch’d”, Connell reformed the band with Tony Tempesta (bass, synth) and Tim McBride (guitar). The upcoming 2022 release, “Super Simple” features the bands tightest, most layered, and varied music yet, building on Color Channel’s playfulness and spontaneity for a live show more rapturous than ever before. .
